Research

The ELSA Journal is the main outlet for ELSA members to engage in environmental law and policy issues, by asking themselves more questions about environmental issues that they are interested in, and seeking for the possible answers out there (if there are any).

We are looking for individuals who have been piqued by the recent environmental law issues, such as climate change; land use and conservation; wildlife trade; water management, etc. You will be free to explore your interests within the length, breadth, and depth of the plethora of environmental law issues. Members of this group will write up one article per semester.

It would be helpful if members have experience writing research papers of any kind — however, this is not essential due to the nature of the research products. Experience with writing an article would also be a helpful stepping stone to writing a paper for presentation at the environmental law conferences that ELSA is invited to from time to time.
